This document contains the general terms and conditions of KidsCab, a company established in Belgium, with its registered office at Regenbooglaan 21, 3510 Kermt (Hasselt) and VAT number BE 0502.796.134.
By placing an order with KidsCab – via

by telephone or by e-mail – the customer agrees to these general terms and conditions.
The term “customer” refers to the buyer, being the person who places the order.
OFFERED PRODUCTS
The products offered by KidsCab are presented as accurately and truthfully as possible using digital images and product descriptions. Minor deviations may occur and do not give rise to termination of the agreement or compensation.
Our products are available to both private and business customers.
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
All prices are stated in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping and packaging costs, unless stated otherwise.
KidsCab strives to display correct and up-to-date prices at all times. Obvious pricing errors or mistakes are not binding. In such cases, the customer will be contacted and given the choice to confirm the order or cancel it free of charge.
Payment terms
Payment must be made within 7 calendar days after placing the order.
In the case of collection, payment must also be made within 7 days, unless agreed otherwise.
In the event of late or non-payment, KidsCab reserves the right to offer the items for sale again.
Advance payment is made by bank transfer or electronic payment to IBAN BE91 9730 8226 9976 in the name of KidsCab.
Cash payment is only possible upon collection and by prior appointment.
AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY TIMES
Products are available while stocks last. Orders are processed in the order in which they are received.
If an item is not in stock, it may still be ordered. In that case, the customer has the right to cancel the order. If one or more items are unavailable, KidsCab may decide to partially fulfil the order or cancel it entirely.
Delivery times are indicative and not binding. If delivery is not possible within 30 days after ordering, the agreement may be terminated and the amount paid will be refunded.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURNS)
The consumer has a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days, which KidsCab voluntarily extends to 15 calendar days after receipt of the product.
Conditions:
Returns must be reported in advance via info@kidscab.be or via the return form.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
The product may only have been used to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning, as would be possible in a physical store.
In the event of clear signs of use, a reduction in value may be applied.
Refunds (excluding shipping costs) will be made within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods.

INCORRECT ORDERS, DAMAGE OR LOST SHIPMENTS
If an incorrect order is received, this must be reported immediately upon receipt.
Cargo bikes (special transport)
The cargo bike must be inspected before signing the delivery note.
Visible damage must be noted on the delivery note.
Signing without reservation applies exclusively to visible damage and does not apply to hidden defects.
An incorrectly delivered cargo bike must be refused immediately.
In the event of a lost or delayed shipment, an investigation will be initiated with the transport company. If the shipment is definitively lost, the customer may choose between reshipment or a refund. Additional compensation is excluded.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Specially ordered or custom-made items cannot be cancelled.
In the event of non-payment:
- one reminder will be sent;
- administrative costs may subsequently be charged;
- for amounts exceeding €500, the claim may be transferred to a collection agency.
Changes to orders or delivery addresses must be communicated in writing by e-mail and in a timely manner.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For shipments outside the European Union, additional costs may apply (VAT, customs and import duties), which are entirely borne by the customer.
INSTALLATION OF PARTS
Loose parts, accessories and electrical bicycle components must be installed by an experienced bicycle mechanic or certified technician.
KidsCab cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect or unprofessional installation. Such damage is not covered by warranty.
MAINTENANCE AND USE
Cargo bikes and electric bicycles require regular and proper maintenance.
The customer acknowledges that:
- a first service is mandatory between 200 and 500 km;
- subsequent servicing is required every 1,000 to 1,500 km;
- regardless of mileage, at least one service per year is required.
This maintenance includes, among other things, inspection of brakes, gears, spoke tension, wheels, drivetrain and electrical components.
Failure to perform maintenance may affect the assessment of warranty claims, without prejudice to the statutory conformity warranty.
WARRANTY AND CONFORMITY
Statutory conformity warranty
Consumers benefit from the statutory conformity warranty of 2 years, in accordance with Belgian economic law. This warranty cannot be excluded.
Commercial warranty
Batteries and battery packs are covered by a commercial warranty of 2 years against material and manufacturing defects, provided correct use and maintenance.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover, among other things:
- normal wear and tear;
- spokes, spoke nipples and spoke tension;
- overloading;
- incorrect use or installation;
- damage caused by accidents, competitions or rental use;
- resale to third parties.
COMPLAINT HANDLING
KidsCab carefully inspects all items.
Complaints must be submitted in a reasoned and written manner via info@kidscab.be, stating the order number.
